So goes "Teenage Surfer Girls", an overall-good, 1976 release from Alpha Blue and director Boots McCoy. Featuring hot (enough) sex, a solid cast, a simple-but-fun plot, and a heaping helping of the 1970's (from VW buses to the "far out" lingo of the time), this flick hits on many of the levels that fans of nostalgic nookie hold dear. It doesn't hurt that Justina Lynn and Melba Bruce have the nubile look and feel down pat, and that Joan Devlon is strikingly beautiful, either. Indeed, despite its short running time of a bit over an hour, this film packs a punch that makes it fun, sexy, and watchable all at once. For fans of the Golden Age, any of the aforementioned actresses, and/or flicks about youthful discovery, this one's worth checking out.
